The Leatherneck-SF (Semper-Fi) boasts a finely hand-honed saber-ground clip point blade, while the Leatherneck Tanto features our distinctive Cold Steel “American Tanto” blade with a robust reinforced tip for added durability. Both knives are crafted from resilient D2 Tool Steel and finished with a non-glare black powder coat. For enhanced safety, the Leathernecks are equipped with a solid steel double quillon guard to prevent finger slippage onto the razor-sharp edge. Their handles are constructed from deeply checkered Kray-Ex, fully enveloping the extra-wide, full tang for a secure grip. Each handle is topped with a thick, machined steel butt cap, designed for added utility in emergencies, unlike the cheap castings or plastics found in some other models. To ensure safe and convenient carrying, each Leatherneck knife is paired with a durable and versatile military-style Secure-Ex sheath, featuring a detachable and ambidextrous belt loop.
